AC Control buttons peeling (suggestions)
 
Hi, the buttons on my AC control are starting to peel... any thoughts on how to fix these that are cost effective ?

*My wife said black nail polish would do the trick... I'm on the fence about that.

I could get a new unit for $100 but think that might be overkill.

FYI, Tried the black nail polish, worked well.
