It's finally here!
I just picked up my 987S last Friday. Here are a couple quick pics. It has to be one of the last '05 ordered cars in the U.S. And seal/sand is pretty rare in these parts.
Thanks to those of you who provided moral support during the long wait. And special thanks to wtsnet, whose gallery kept me going during the last couple months. http://tinypic.com/9azep0 http://tinypic.com/9azevc |
That looks incredible!

Wow, that is a gorgeous car. Great color choice.

If you told me seal and sand I would have said :barf:
But wow, it looks awesome! I have never been one of those people who can visiualize how colors will work together. |
How about a picture of the dash?
I would like to see if the sand goes better with the silver plastic. |
NOICE!
have you seen the moded up one the RUF site? I think I posted some pics on show and tell page. |
Gorgeous indeed! Best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 |
That's a beautiful color. Good for you!

I ALMOST wish I picked Sand instead of Black for the interior of my Seal Gray. THat's not the first time I've seen that color combo and damn, it looks good. :)
|
Love that combination. Car looks great.
|
Man, that is a great color combo! Have fun!
|
Let me echo all the other comments... one of the best color combos I've seen. Nice work.

Nice colors
Beautiful color combo. Enjoy the car and drive its wheels off. Use mine everyday it is very addicting.............LOL
|
Congrads. Great combo.
.....I still can't figger why the auto companies continue to offer leather that looks like viynl? Look at any of the vintage cars of quality and the leather interiors stand alone for their texture and coloring. Maybe it's because they think that all the other plastic has to look like the seats - and since it cannot, if the seats looked like saddle leather: so make the seats look like the plastic dashboard instead? Enjoy your ride. jim |
Seal Grey and Sea Blue
I can't see your pics (red X's) but I ordered my '06 Boxster S with Seal Grey with Sea Blue interior (blue top). The car is "onvessel" after a 7/1 build slot so I hope to see it soon.
I'm on the east coast so hopefully it arrives a little quicker than the left coast cars. Anyone know how long it takes to move from "onvessel" status to the east coast? |
incredible sg/sand color combo!
can we have some more pictures please? maybe one with the top up where the interior is somewhat visible through the window? is the top grey? i can't really tell. anywho, truly inspiring pix, LI1. thanks again. enjoy it!   brett |
If it helps, my car moved from on vessel to Springfield, IL in 4 days. I would imagine yours will be quick. The thing that took the longest was getting the dealership to hurry up and get it prepped so they would give it to me.

Very nice color combination!! I like that a lot... very very nice car...
|
That is beautimous!! I love Arctic Silver (or whatever they are calling it this year).
