Hi guys. Havent been around in a while...

Just dropping in to say hi, as I haven't been here in a long while. Been too busy with work to spend time having fun here. Lol. Still have my box, but don't get to drive it that much anymore, as I use an FX35 for my daily driver now that I have to commute an hour each day each way to the office now. Funny thing is the FX has a nicer sounding exhaust note then the Box! Lol. glad to see this site still busy.....cheers guys.

My 01 Box still lookin good...

Good to see you around, Boxtaboy.

Have you done any new mods to the Boxta? To the FX?

unklekraker 12-11-2011 06:32 AM

What's up man...nice FX35

I myself was out of the picture here, I think for 2 years...and same thing..busy at work and having a grandson, kept me busy too :D

Hi guys! Good to see you here! Yeah, work, the 3 yr old and working around our new to us house pretty much took up all my time. Lol. Haven't done any more mods to the Box, but have done some to the FX. Simple stuff like aluminum pedals, clear tails, etc. Now that I drive the Box less, it's that much more special when I do get to drive it tho. Hope all is good with you guys too!

Do you have a better pic of those wheels? Are they 18"?
thanks
Feelyx

Boxtaboy 12-11-2011 07:46 AM

Here is another pic... They are 18" SSR GT3 wheels made for Porsche offset applications. No spacers needed....

Glad to see that you're still around . I haven't had anyone to argue 19 inch versus 18 inch wheels with in a long time . :)

Boxtaboy 12-11-2011 08:31 AM

Did we argue about that? :D of course, 18's are more appropriate for the 986 line! ;) and don't even get me started about fiberglass bodykits! :)

Good to see you back.

We hadn't met, but it's good to have someone around to keep Johnny in line. I agree 18's are more appropriate :)

Boxtaboy 12-11-2011 08:08 PM

Haha...it's all good. I'm just havin fun with Danger. There's a good bunch of folks here, and it's good to be back for a little and see you all while I got the time.

Burg Boxster 12-12-2011 09:03 AM

Great to see ya here Boxtaboy! We were just getting ready to send out a search party for you.

Congrats on the new house and with it, I presume a second Boxtababy is on the horizon?

Do you use beer or wine to lure 1schoir over to help w/ house mods? :D

Boxtaboy 12-12-2011 09:48 AM

Hi Burg! Good to see you here. Well, I haven't been able to get Mo over yet, but for sure will sometime. We've all been busy lately, and unfortunately have not been able to hook up as of late. So for now, all my house mods are done solely by me...or a contractor. ;) I've discovered house modding/maintenance is not nearly as fun as working on your car. Lol.

No 2nd Boxtaboy/girl 2 yet...we're busy enough with 1! :). Hope your beautiful 997 is still treating you well!
