Talking Porsche Delivery in Europe

I extracted the following from an article on Europe delivery of various cars. BTW-Most try to LOWER the price for this experience, but, Porsche .......

Porsche AG, the German sports-car manufacturer and a lower-volume producer, also provides European delivery. However, instead of discounting prices or defraying travel expenses as incentives, its program charges additional model-based fees. The fee is $1,150 or $2,250 for most models but jumps to $8,500 for the top of the Cayenne SUV line. Twice a year, Porsche offers elaborate two-day receptions and tours at its Stuttgart and Leipzig factories that include rides on its test tracks. Last year, 245 U.S. customers took factory delivery, according to the company.
