hub into wheel bearing torque and ??

Just finished R&R my rear wheel bearing with the proper tool.

Questions for you all.

Is there a proper torque setting for the hub when pressing it into the bearing/carrier?
Or will the final hub nut at 340lbs do that.

I pressed it on until it was flush and all the way in.
Hub wiggles back and forth? Is that normal or will that all be in place once that 340 hub nut is on there?

Thanks
Just want to get this right before I put her all back in.

Then the other side just because I am there!

The hub will be wobbly until you you torque the axle nut. Even if you did get it all the way into the bearing, it is only supported by one side of the bearing. The pressure from the axle from the other side will eliminate any play when properly torqued.

That is what I thought as well.
Just making sure.

Will finish the job this week then do the other side just because I am OCD.
And I have tool!

As hoped and expected there is no movement once the axle nut is torqued on to 340lbs.

All is good!
