Transmission Repair! What's the Latest?

Cross Post - Don't know the best place to post this.

OK, I've raced my 2000 Boxster S trans since 2004. All original except a light weight flywheel and Guards Transmission LSD. It is mated to a 3.6L '05 996 motor. We are pulling the box out and replacing the pressure plate and clutch. While it's out, I'm looking for ideas and info regarding any options for changing gear sets or Ring and Pinion while its out. The car is a dedicated race car. Not street Legal.

Has anyone made these changes? Who did they buy from? Was it noticeable on track?

Any input or ideas would be welcomed.

blue,

I have. As a builder and seller of all things gearbox related I have heard their ideas and opinions.

I'm actually looking for guys who have used them or any other company who sells R&P and/or Gear ratio change to get the opinion of end users who aren't looking to sell something.

Hope I can find that.
