Airbag Warning Light

The airbag warning light came on while I was cleaning the interior of my 99 Boxster.....It happened when I was sliding the seats forward to clean behind them.

Where should I look to see if I disconnected something or pulled a connection loose?

I did a quick look under each seat and didnt see anything obvious....

Thanks for the help

Mine are power seats, so I don't know if they're the same as yours but mine have a connector under them. The seats are held in by 4 bolts but the front bolts are concealed by a cosmetic cover that you need to take off first. You might find it easier to unbolt the seat to check around underneath. The bad news is you need a Durametric to reset the air bag light. Unlike a CEL, it won't go off by disconnecting the battery.

Check your under-seat connector.
