Welcome from another NC (Charlotte area) resident! You'll get to drive with the top down most of the year in your location. Nice ride...use a simple graphics program like Paint to re-size your pics, they be easier to see

Welcome...nice car! Your spoiler, is that integrated into your truck lid AND taking the place of the OEM "toaster" spoiler? Can you take more pictures of it? Trunk lid open and closed? Very interesting.

It is integrated with the trunk lid. The "Toaster" is toast....removed.

Will take more pics soon.

We Will join...TODAY ! We are new owners as of last Feb. and are reading everything we can to take care of our 986. A club would be great with the nice people of North Carolina. NC, the most upbeat, friendly state we have ever lived in ! And YES you can go topless most of the year with our great weather.

Nice.

Your top is closing incorrectly on the driver's side. There's a velcro loop that attaches to the top frame that comes loose. Open the top about a foot and re-attach it.

Thanks San...did that earlier today. I need to re-sew velcro onto one of the straps....the old velro has come off.

Thanks again!

Where in North Carolina is every one from?

We should plan a "Coffee and Porsche" Meeting.

I just had this problem pop up with my brand new replacement top. The cable on the driver's side closes outside of the frame. Can you provide any more details on what to look for to correct?

John,

I realize you are hours away from Charlotte. But, if you find yourself in this area during the first Saturday of each month (tomorrow) you should try and stop by our local Cars and Coffee gathering. The turnout is great each month with a lot of Porsches and other great cars.

Here are some pics from a few months earlier this year:

Welcome to you and the other new NC members!
