E-bay Scam in Progress

Just got back from driving 90 miles to pickup my E-bay "score"

Advertised as 2002 Boxster 3.2 heads off a totaled Boxster with 16,000 miles.
I noticed he also was selling a pair of 5-speed trans mounts which are different from 6-speed mounts standard with 3.2 engines. I quized him on this thru E-bay messaging & he avoided the question the 1st time then later said it had a 6-speed & he had sold it that morning. Drove out to pickup heads from "2008hdstreetglide", AKA William Ulrich Jr., but calls himself Harold on the phone, living in a RV park by the LA County/Pomona Fairgrounds. Sure enough they are small valve heads that have been bead blasted to conceal actual mileage. I said he sold the shortblock so I assume someone is in for a shock when they discover what they bought.

My rule is don't buy anything from a seller with less than a 99 score.

Just an observation:

Why are all the bull**************** artist's ebay listings done in HUGE FONTS and ALL CAPS, I guess liars like to yell and have poor graphic design skills, or just incredibly bad taste.

Carry on...

Land, The same reason the cheapest, worst furniture is always sold by a guy shouting the entire commercial.

You forgot to mention they use excessive exclamation points and can't SPELL.

This guy's score is 98 with only 1 negative feedback. That is until I post my comments. I think the parts are off E-bay now since he thought he had them sold but if he reposts them as 3.2 I will let him have it then.

Found my BoxsterS on Ebay. Although the deal was closed after the auction and resubmitted so that I could take advantage of some special discount from Ebay motors at the time. The seller was not a private party but a local Acura dealer that picked it up on a trade in. New Jersey has lemon laws (90 days if I'm not off) which made it all the beter.
