iPad mount?
Anyone mount an iPad instead of a GPS in their car? Looking for pictures / ideas...
I'd rather not buy another GPS, since the iPad pretty much goes wherever I do, and it has a few nice nav apps... |
No. The iPad is bigger than the car. I use a cup-holder mount for my GPS and it works wonderfully. There's just no place for an iPad. If you have the desire for a huge dash-mounted screen you can replace the radio with a double-din radio,cd,gps unit. For me, that was still too gaudy.

I agree the ipad is kind of big for the Boxster but there are lots of mounts available via google search.

:D Those windshield mounts will certainly get you stopped. Too much windshield blockage. That one along the console would work. Still too big.

Thanks Aron, the Scosche clip made me google a bit more, and found this... Nteresting, but am not going to replace my stereo!
