installing 03/04 roof to my 96 box help with b pillar microswitch

Hi guys,

I have finaly sourced and received my 2003 boxster roof with oem glass window to to fit to my 96-99 986, I simply unbolt the old one and fit the new one as I didnt opt to buy the motor from the later model, but I noticed a section on different guides regarding the b pillar micro switche needing to be worked around, what do I need to do with this?

Thanks alot for all your help.

I have messaged a guy on here who has done this but im aware he may be busy so I thought I would post a thread to see if anyons ele has also worked this out.

I did this project on my 2002 and you will love it!
I didn't have to deal with the microswitch difference, but I seem to remember the instructions I found on website Mike Focke's covered this issue. Have you checked there? Also, it may be covered in Wayne's 101 projects book or his Pelican website.
Good luck!
