mirror replacement question

Hi Guys,

I've searched and couldn't find an answer to this. I thought I'd asked the folks here before I dive into this project.

My driver side mirror suffered a stress crack, as as result I purchased an whole new (used) mirror and am ready to install it. My question is, do I need to remove the door card or can I just pop out the mirror control piece, and remove the 3 bolts, and reinstall the new mirror?

I've replaced mirrors on different cars before and some do require removal of the door cards.

Any help is greatly appreciative! Regards, Dan:cheers:

no need to remove the door panel. be carefull w/ the 3 screws, though. it's easy to drop them down inside the door.

Okay, I ran into another snag. I removed the mirror switch and plastic triangle cover. My issue now is, I only see 2 torx screws and one is behind a very hard to reach spot.

What tool is needed to remove that third torx screw? Thanks!

yeah, I have the same problem, what tool do you use to get in there?

omg, you can just go right to it... there is a aluminum colored sticker over the hole....

I am so dumb...
