P0452 Evap System CEL

I am getting P0452. I am not unfamiliar with this dreaded CEL. Last year I first picked it up replaced my gas cap with no success. I then replaced the fuel pressure sensor with a different used one and it finally kept the CEL away until recently.

I got another used fuel pressure sensor (they are just so expensive) from a junkyard and installed it. The CEL is not going away after a couple resets. Not sure what to do now. I can find no info on how people have fixed this issue other than replacing the sensor. I am thinking about getting another gas cap but don't know if that will really matter. Please help.

Best done by disconnecting the battery first.....

1) Unplug the sensor and plug IV on the DME. Check for a ground (short) between the disconnected sensor wire and ground. Should get infinity (no path to ground).

2) Check for resistance between the sensor's wire connector and pin 21 on plug IV on the DME.
