door lock button fell in
 

My wife went to push the button to lock the doors on my, er- OUR, new to us 03, 986 and the button fell back into the dash:rolleyes:. The local shop wants 1-2h labor to fix it. can anybody tell me how to get access and fix this?

My Bentley manual shows them just prying the switch panels out with a wedge shaped tool, page 70-3. Looks like they just snap into the console.

I'm afraid to touch any of the plastic bits on the inside of my car for this exact reason.
