B&M Short Shift in Richmond VA Area

I've always thought that a little fine tuning of the shifting on my car would make driving it more enjoyable. I may have an opportunity to buy a B&M short shifter at a good price. The bottom line from most of the posts I've read is that you should check it out before you buy. Some folks love it and some folks hate it.

Does anyone near Richmond VA have a B&M equipped car that I could check out?
