need a high res pic of a control arm

Anyone have a lower front control arm hanging around that they could take a good shot of with a camera and email me?

I'm writing up a brief how-to for my local PCA mag about squirting WD40 in the dust boot to stop that squeaky grinding noise that this suspension part seems to develop, but I don't have a control arm to photograph.

The picture will probably need to be at least 3 mb in size, photographed on your driveway so the background isn't busy.

Reply to this if you can do this for me. Thanks!

Thanks, but this is a low res web pic. I need a much higher res shot for a printed piece. The file will need to be in the 2+ Mb range.

But I sure would like one just like this but higher resolution! This is exactly what I want, except bigger!

Randall,

What image dpi and file format do you need? Also, can you tell me the print size that the image will be?

I ask because I found the image online that boxster6354 posted and it is a 1476 x 1071 jpg @ 72 dpi.

Even though it has a lower dpi, because of the larger pixel resolution it's possible to increase the dpi to 150 or 300 to get a print size around 6 x 4 and maintain an acceptable image quality.

If you let me tell me the above info and I can change the image accordingly and send it to you. Just pm the info to me and your email and I can send the altered image to you.

Thanks Ian. I took the pic above posted by Travis, tweaked it a bit in photoshop and made it work. It's really small, but all I need it for is to identify the part and point out the dust boot for my little article.

It's already on its way to the editor now
