Smog question- Ready Status "Secondary air system- fail"

My durametric software readout shows all Ready areas as "Pass" except for the Secondary air- system. Is this something that will prevent my car from getting smogged? Is this an automatic system fail, or is this something the smog technician can look over and still pass your car?

These areas show "Pass":
Cat converter eff
Fuel tank ventilation
oxygen sensors
oxygen sensor heater

If you don't have a CEL you should be OK passing smog. Most smog stations just put the sensor in the exhaust and check the seal on your gas cap. Since it's too much of a hassle to get to a Boxster motor they don't look at items on the motor (air intake, AOS, timing). Might be a different story if you take it to a Porsche dealership?

Here in Ga they hook it up to the computer and dont run it on the exhaust. They do test the gas cap. Im pretty sure any emission issue or error will fail it.

it's different in every state. some allow you to have failed readiness bits and still pass the test as long as your CEL isn't on.
