Very noisy windows

Got my 2000 boxster S in april. Love it so far. Lately temps has finaly been higher in Quebec City and have use the top a lot. I have also use the windows and find out that when its hot and dry outside, they make a very loud squiky noise. It is as disturbing as finger nails on a black board. What can I do about that? Would sliding product on the seal help ( like gigoloo) or it will leaves mark on the windows every time I use it? Any other suggestion?

thanks

Just had the same problem with my 2000. It was one of the pulleys of the window regulator, it needed oiling. You have to take the door panel off to get access to the regulator and then oil the center bearing on the plastic pulleys at the bootom of the door. I also greased the rails and cables at the same time. Works perfectly now.

The best fix is to replace the regulator, but its a bit more involved than just taking off the door panel and lubing.
