Just had alignment done - car still pulls to the right

Remember that all roads are crowned to shed water, which means the right side of the road slopes slightly to the right and the left to the left, which will cause your car to drift when you take your hands off the wheel. To test this get on a 2 lane freeway, the car should drift slightly to the right ion the right lsne and to the left in the left lane. If it doesn't, then something else (or the alignement) is off.

+1 Try driving on the same side of a deserted road both ways and see if the car follows the crown.

Thanks for the responses. I'll give it a try. In theory it makes sense, but none of my other vehicles drift to the right.

How hard is it pulling?. Most alignments are done so there is a 'safe' slight pull to the right but when I had mine done by an indy they did an assume job and it is perfect. Boxsters have just the right amount of caster and they track true and straight. I sure would have wanted a before and after printout, that's just not right.
Is it any better then it was? Also one other thing to check, I put Sumitomo tires on my Benz and the car had just been aligned with the original tires so I knew it tracked well, the Sumitomo tires pulled to the right...well guess what, when I reversed the front tires (right to left) it pulled the other way. What this means is one tire is bigger then then the other. I just love the tires but it has driven me nuts from day one, by the time I figured out what the problem actually was it really wasn't worth it to get my money back.
Are the tires directional or asymmetric, if asymmetric you can change sides on the front and see.
