LHD vs RHD headlights

I recently discovered that the LHD and RHD headlights are in fact different (diff part numbers). I'm trying to update my headlights and as most of the used headlights I found are LHD (mine is RHD), can anyone help me on the following:

Litronic - I understand there is a switch on the litronic headlights that is mean to allow the RHD euro cars to drive in countries that are LHD or vice versa. Does it mean that if I get a US litronic headlight, I can just switch the setting to RHD without any issues ? Do the US litronic headlights even have this switch or are they only on the euro litronics ? The US litronic and LHD euro litronic also has different part no... can't porsche make things simple ???

US Non-litronic 03-04 headlights - any way of switching these for use on RHD drives ? Besides taping them out which is not acceptable as a long term solution. Anyone knows whether the adjustments on the LHD headlights are large enough to project a beam suitable for RHD ?

Can anyone shed any 'light' on this ? I really dislike my amber lights.
