Should I avoid Boxster with RMSeal repair?

Looking at a 2001 Boxster S that has 32k. Had rear main seal and clutch replaced at 27K under warranty. I be concerned? Would this effect trade in value down the road?
Thanks

The RMS was finally "perfected" around 2005 with the PTFE version & all cars should be updated with this seal when feasable so this is a +, but you should still get a PPI done by the best shop available.

NO, NOT AN ISSUE. RATHER HAVE IT DONE. MAY AS WELL DO THE CLUTCH WHILE YOUR IN THERE.

NO. I'D PAY MORE, NOT LESS, FOR A CAR WITH A NEW CLUTCH AND RMS... JUST CHECK OUT EVERYTHING ELSE.

No, you should consider a vehicle with the RMS seal replaced as an enhancement and good thing to have in a 2001 before you buy it. Bob
