please help- soft top fabric problem
 

I am having a slight issue. The inside of the convertible top has a fabric lining. In the corners, there is an elastic string with a plastic hook on the end. This hook pulls the fabric tight in the corners and keeps the wind from flapping the fabric around.

Where does the plastic hooks attach to? Both sides are off on my top, and the wind fills it up like a parachute.
