Need help with electrical?

I have a 2001 boxster s. A few days ago when I started the car the climate control fan stopped working, the headlight low beams would not come on, and the heater seats would not come on. With the car stopped and the engine off, but key on everything works. As soon as I start the car; engine running the same problems return. No fan, not low beams, and not seat heater? Does anyone have an idea what is going on?

Check your system voltage with the engine running, you should be over 14 V at and idle.

You may also have a bad ignition switch..............

Sounds like it's time to swap out the ignition switch. The electrical connection part is on the back of the switch. That part tends to break down and starts throwing your electrical components into a tizzy. They're cheap and simple to fix.
