convertible top

guys, i recently changed my top to the aftermarket glass one. although i'm loving it, it's been 2 weeks now. i am still finding it very "tight". ie.. having difficulty closing it. i will literally have to force it closed and then try to activate the locking mechanism. any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? or is it just a time thing? thanks.

tuan

it just needs to stretch. Close the top and park it in the sun, wet it down with a hose, and let it sit in the sun. Dont open the top for 2 weeks. After a few weeks in the sun/water it will fit like a glove.

been almost a year since i had the aftermarket top installed. it stretched a little, but i always have to help it by pulling the top a little closer before pulling the latch closed. i dont think it will ever be as loose as the original.

A quick question. this new top does not come with cable right? Its only fabrics? Also, glass window, that is what I have on my boxster and upon evaluation at dealer, they say the glass window is too heavy for the fabric and its causing it to slowly tear apart. Is it a consern with this top?

Thanks
