aerokit sideskirts - Do they look ok with stock front and rear bumpers?

Just purchased a boxster and looking to do some upgrades little by little. I was looking into installing the aerokit side skirts but wondering if they look good with stock front and rear bumpers or should I wait til I can replace all 3 at the same time? Does anyone have any pics? Much appreciated for any responses. :)

Welcome!!!

While it can be fun to accessorize a new to you car, note that this is a Porsche. You will be advised by all here that first thing you need to do is any maintenance that is due. You will discover that boxsters are a special beast and can be a handful. You should also start a boxster fund of at least 2000 a year for routine items alone.
And the absolutely most important thing is your manual and the search on this site

Here is a couple older pictures of my 2002 with stock front bumper and aerokit2 side skirts (I have done a few mods since). I think it looks great, although I have been keeping my eye out for a front bumper.
For the rear, I added the painted rear diffusers available on eBay and a few other sites.

As soon as I posted, I saw that pic 6 did not show the side skirts. My mistake. But the other 3 pics show good angles. :)
I like the aero kit I style on yours also.

Whooops was actually refferin to "J's Boxsters" post....But me and you pretty much posted at the same time

But thanks...I like the skirts alot...I like your rear bumper too looks good with the diff. Were they hard to install? Im buyin everything next month for mine. Still deciding what front bumper I want. Between a front lip, techart front or gt2 bumper...hmm

Very easy to install. There are 3 holes on each part and 2 of them line up with OEM holes. I had to drill the 3rd on each side near the exhaust tip.
Together with the painted bumperettes, it really updated the look of the back.
Good luck!

How much do you think an OEM GT3 MK1 bumper goes for? (i think its the areo kit 2).
I have one sitting in my shed but it has a repairable crack in it. I am still debating on repairing it, or selling it.

MN 986 - Wow!!! I really like the look of that. It definitly looks great. Thanks for the pics. It gives me a good sense of what it would look like.

J's boxster - Thanks for the advice. I've purposely set aside 2 separate funds for the boxster. One for maintenance and one for upgrades. I agree that maintenance is my overall concern and more than not my $$$ will be put toward that. Thanks again for you help.

BMoney - Thanks for the pic....I like the look. Like I said I'm looking to do things a little at a time and I just wanted to make sure that if I were to decide to go with just side skirts for the time being that it wouldn't look too awkward. Based on the pics I've seen, I see that it may be worth my while to try it as they do a good job of adding to the look of the car without taking too much away from it.

New MK1 bumpers are getting awfully hard to find, so if you have one, and the crack is repairable, I'd have a professional bumper shop fix it.
