Tyre Pressure on a boxster
 

I need to know the accurate tyre pressure for boxster 2.5 MY99, manual transmission. 225/40ZR18 and 265/35 ZR18 Pirelli Pzero Rosso N4.

Now I put 2.0bar front and 2.5 rear, but I am not sure because car left the road in a curve and rear center tyres is consumed, however edges are brand-new. (overpressure?)

A web by delticom holds correct pressures are 2.0bar front and rear for boxster 2.5 wheel 18".

I would estimate all your help.

what your tire pressure should be, but I have the 17" Pirelli PZeros, 50/205 up front, and 40/255 in the rear, the recommended pressure on these are 36 psi on the rear, and 29 upfront.....This seems to work well with mine...Yours are probably a few psi higher front and rear.....

When I first purchased the car, the back tires were about 10 psi low :eek: ......and the outside of the tires are worn a bit more than the center/inside, given the camber on the rears.....So it makes sense that if your center is worn, but your outsides are OK, you may very well be overinflated.....

then, which pressures (in bar) are accurate?

mathematically,
36 psi = 2.48 bars
29 psi = 1.99 bars
so 2.5 bars (rear) and 2.0 bars (front) match the manufacturer's recommendations.

My local tire shop has suggested running a little higher pressure in the fronts for sharper turn in, I use about 32-33 psi(2.25 bar).
But I'm fairly new to the car.

Limon is right. The Porsche recammendation is a tad low for the fronts for safety(I guess to induce understeer instead of oversteer if you overcook a corner) I run 33/36 Front/rear
