Roof problems... again!!!
 

This post is similar to some others iv'e read read.. but not quite.
When trying to open my roof the clamshell only opened on the nearside.

I have tried the "electric drill trick" to open the other side but it didn't work. Pulled the inner cable from the drive and found both ends were destroyed. I dont have enough room to disengage the ball joints... How do I get the damn thing open???
