What is that plug for?

Hello all

I have found out a plug that is not connected. It is behind the passenger seat.

Could it be the plug for the rear window defrost? I dont have the original rear window (it seam like a real glass window, not a plastic one) and the defrost is not working. If that it, where is suppose to be the wire connected to the window?

I also thought it might be a connector for a sensor in the passenger door. But alarm seams to work well. Although Porsche mechanic says the system is not all close.

Any idea. Someone know the plug from its form and wire color?

I hope the link works
thanks

The rear window defrost is on the left side of the car, so it's not a defrost plug. I'm thinking possibly the seat heater or power seats wire?

Where does the wire emerge from the carpeting?

I think it is for the airbag/child seat deactivation bar or something like that.

Hello

Power seat is working and heating seat also (my gilfriend like it so much :))
Air bag/child seat deactivation? Did not read anything on it so far. I'll look around for more info on that.

Thanks

I can't get a good look at the picture (work will not permit the site from opening and your picture is super small). If it's not for the D-bar, and I can check tonight on mine, it might be for the Bose sub woofer option?

If you hear a short beep from the horn when you lock the car and set the alarm, it is telling you that someting is not closed properly. Could be a trunk, door, or console compartment. You will not hear a beep if everything is all ok.

I do hear a shot beep from the hunk so something is not close in the circuit. Everything is close so must be a faulty sensor. Could that plug be for a passenger door sensor?

I dont have long wire for that plug (about 1 foot) so the other part must be close, but so far I did not saw it. I need to check more cerafully tomorow morning.
