Boxster locked up

New owner 2006 987, just changed 4 tires from winter to summer. Jacked each corner starting with rear, changed out tires. Started car to go for a ride and car won't move? Can anyone tell me what happended and how to fix? Thanks Jetty

did you chock the wheels? did you remove them afterwards?

What brand wheels? Could the wheel bolts be hitting the rotors? Jack each corner and see if the wheels spin freely.

Ya blocked wheels, took blocks out won't move foward or backwards. Brian I did have spacers on teh back and didn't use them with teh different set of wheels could taht be it?

stephen, tires I took off were stock porsche wheels, set I put on are Victor Zen wheels. Bought them from the original owner. I'll jack up the rear and see if the wheel turns freely. Since thats all that changed maybe that it. Ill let you know in a couple minutes.

Yep, longer bolts w/o the spacers will cause the problem. Be glad [hope] you didn't damage the parking brake in rear.

If you need std size wheel bolts, PM me as I have 2 sets avail w/ or w/o wheel locks and can priority ship them from PA to you tomorrow AM.

Thanks guys your the best that was the answer. Now I'm off to dinner, if I couldnt drive the boxster I wasn't going thanks again!!!!!
