Roof Issues

Hiya...

After a break of about three years I have managed to get back in a Porsche, he's 8 years old done a few miles but it's amazing how happy he makes me...

There is a little issue with the hood. It pops up and down a dream, but when it goes up the cables done don't fit back in their housing they come on the outside of the trim around the window. If I encourage it as the roof goes up they fit fine. I assume there is adjustment, but not being a particularly mechanically minded guy I'm not to confident to tackle anything too complicated myself unless it pretty easy.

So if you can give me advise that would be great - also is there anyone South Devon way than I could take it to who maybe specialise in this kind of issue?

Thanks in advance of your help

Martin

This was covered a little while ago on the forum.
Mike Focke's site has a good description on this issue.
