Tools for the Boxter Owner

Are there any "must have" tool kits for the Boxter owner? Whether it be small star keys or engine compartment tools, brake necessity, anything...

Please post any links you suggest. Thanks guys. This site has been VERY helpful for a newbie and now eternal Boxter owner!

Your spelling of the word Boxster added to the fact that you have one makes me :(.

Porsche Boxsters have boxer engines. But, neither the car nor the engine is spelled b-o-x-t-e-r. Sorry to belabor this with a second post, but it rang my bell too. :D

Now to answer your question...

A set of Torx screwdrivers is very helpful. You'll use them all over your car.

A metric socket set would also be very handy. I use mine all the time.

Oh yeah, another good thing to keep around for repairing and fixing up your boxster is one of these. I attached a picture so you could see it. A picture is worth a thousand words, right?

This is the cover for the 2001 tech intro booklet for the 2001 Boxter that is published by Porsch Cars North America each year.

Wow, you would think the creators of such fine automobiles could spell their models correctly.
