You meet the most interesting people driving a Boxster

Yesterday my brother and I spent the day poking around JPL with a pair of ummm world renowned astronomers. The first: Glenn Orton works there with his wife as a planetary physicist specializing in infrared planetary astronomy. Glenn drives a Cayman and was one of my DE students. He also attended two of my novice clinics.

The other is an Australian named Anthony "Bird" Wesley who discovered an impact on Jupiter with his backyard telescope in 2009 now known as the "Bird Strike". He was coming into town to visit with Glenn and we were invited to tag along. Here is his story:

Interesting people, interesting stories, amazing place.
