Try some naked bikes,

My own bike, the Buell XB is a blast to drive.

Triumph Speed Triple and the Kawasaki z1000 come to mind also.

All are much fun!

stop reading my mind brucelee,
my choices are duc monster, triple, and the z1000.
never owned ducs or any other euro bikes so i am bit skiddish on maintaining the bike. plus the power, so i am leaning towards the z1000 or the naked sv1000.
andicati im'ed me on monsters and helped out big time.
still cant get over the design of a monster, it so beautiful.....

They don't make the naked SV1000 anymore. You would have to get it used.

The fairing SV1000 has a horrible seating position to me, a sport bike with all the discomfort.

The Z1000 and the Buell are straight up and down, very comfy and lots of fun. The Buell will take it off the line, the Z1000 can pass on the way up as it is way up on the rev line.

The Duc is a duc, expensive as all get out and kind of lean- forward to me. But it looks and sounds great!!!!!!!!

I am a big fan of air cooled twins for the kind of riding I do.

So many choices, no??????????

got the z1000

after test riding and weighing the pros and cons, i went with the kawi Z1000.
needs lot of work, since it is bare-bone stock, that should keep me busy for awhile.

the pic isnt my bike but it is just like it, actually mine is lot newer.

There are tons of mods for the Z1000 and a very good bike can be made great! Also, I have seen some bling that makes the bike a beauty indeed.

If I didn't already have a naked bike I loved, I would be so there!

Best of luck and if you are ever in the neighborhood..............
