while I do have the "no food or drinks" policy on mine, I have a crack-like addiction to Rockstar energy drinks and usually consume one on the way to work or on longer drives.

Oddly enough, aluminum cans fit PERFECTLY in the seat moving handle of the passenger seat (between the seat and the handle).

Nothing has spilled yet!

...seriously though... no one else gets drinks

I applaud this, I like it, we should develop a plastic pocket card like a 747 with a quick summation of passenger riding etiquette. Of course that might lead to the inevitable road miles, in flight shopping magazine and run you a few $$.

I have them for my 986, but only put them on the car when on long trips. I find that passengers rip it out of its pin holes with their knees getting in and out of the car, even after I tell them to watch their motions carefully.

It's a stupid design, really. Quite the afterthought for the silly Americans who feel the urge to drink beverages inside a moving vehicle. That's so not-German!
