However

If these are anything like the files that have been floating around for ages, they are incomplete, not updated, missing TSBs and they don't cover all model years.

most probable. but can be inspirational. I needed some point to start. Probably there are much better options.

If you need an answer to a question that can only be found in the Porsche manuals, make sure you post the question over at the PCA Boxster Register. They have access to all of the Porsche Technical Resources dating back to 1994. They can't distribute copies, but they are allowed to use the resources to help find answers.

Meaning the Boxster Register? The Boxster Register is free, to PCA members. I'm assuming that most Porsche enthusiasts are already PCA members.

That's because the link is doubled up for some reason, should be
]http://ge.tt/4G7hfzZ[/url]

Looks like a file sharing site to me.
Some of the files work, other one 'cannot be retrieved (at this time)'.
The download link that pops up at the bottom of the inline pdf viewer doesn't work for me, downloads just choke. I got some of the docs by hitting the 'enlarge' button on the
right top side of the inline pdf viewer. That somehow takes you to the Google Docs pdf viewer. Save the document in you Google documents and download the saved document later. Got 3 of the documents so far.

Guys, there is no such thing as a "free lunch"........

And even if there was, you wouldn't have time to eat it. These "manuals" only cover the very earliest 986's, are woefully incomplete, and are missing the dozens and dozens of TDB's and updates/corrections that the final print set had. Unless you are used to using Porsche literature, you'd be better off with the Bentley manual.

Besides which, you are suborning theft of intellectual property…………
