I'd get the manual transmission myself. Great car, but I think you lose some of the excitement with a Tiptronic. Just my own opinion of course, but I have been driving since 1965, have had one or two cars with an automatic (yes, I know the Tiptronic is not quite the same), the rest were all stick shift.
