Nope the Alleggerita is a nine spoke wheel. Looks like a TR motorsports MT-1 but I don't think that is it either.

Boxsterund914 01-21-2011 10:37 AM

looks like a Volk to me.

There are several wheels that match the appearance of this wheel, however, none of them are available in a Porsche fitment. This leads me think that the image may have been photo shopped or in some way superimposed .

jacabean 01-21-2011 02:16 PM

i have search and search and i can not find them. they are similar to the OZ wheels but not quite the look.

jacabean 01-21-2011 02:18 PM

these wheels look real good . figures that it's a photo shop job.

yelojkt 01-21-2011 07:01 PM

I'm not sure that is photoshoped. JD what wheels did you find that match these? Notice how they are really a split five spoke making them a ten spoke but not all openings are the same size or shape. I don't remember if the early Nuespeed wheels were like this.

There are a couple of Enkei wheels that closely resemble these. Also, there are some Volks to. Furthermore, there's a "house" brand of wheels by a UK dealer that look very similar as well. However, in the case of Enkei or Volk, neither seem to offer a Porsche fitment in this style.

You might like these also. They are Porsche specific.

i got a price a price for the C10 wheels . They are custom CNC'd for your specific car , that is why they fit so perfectly. 3,100 in satin black plus shipping and tires , OUCH ! that would be 25% of the value of my car!

Personally, I don't like the look of mesh wheels. I prefer the look of their Zehn wheel much more .

The zehns are one of my choices . I like that they are not that pricey .

nieuwhzn 01-23-2011 03:50 PM

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't like over sized cart wheels on a Boxster (or any other car for that matter).
The last couple of years there is a tendency to go bigger and bigger on the wheels. Imho, the only thing it is doing is increasing the price of wheels/tires, decreasing the ride comfort and putting too much strain on the axles etc. Why do all cars have to look like pimp-mobiles?

Its a great looking wheel for sure. And for the price, I imagine that they're reasonably well made. Although, the sizes and offsets could be better . In any case, I think that the Zehn would be a good choice for the money.
