03 boxster with service records that stop

looking at a 03 boxster with 13,200 miles for $19,8 as a mb dealer. carfax shows service thru 07 and 7000 miles then no more entries. dealer doesn't have service records. carfax shows no other issue such as accidents or changing owners. I would do a ppi. any other suggestions?

'07 and 7000 miles surely coincides with the end of the factory warranty, and (understandably) the owner decided not to use the dealer for service any longer.

It's also more than likely that the car has had nothing more than oil changes since that time.

Wouldn't alarm me in the slightest. Get a PPI and then make your decision.
