Window closes "too early"

Hi there,

I have an issue with my driver's side window. If I close the door "normally", the window gets stuck on the outside of the frame on the top of the window. It's like the mechanism that is supposed to ensure that the window is pushed up when the door closes is engaging too early...

If I slam the door, then the door closes and the window engages correctly. And while that has been an acceptable "work-around" for some time now - it looks a little silly when I constantly slam the door.

Has anyone seen that before - or have any idea what might be wrong?

Thanks,
Lars

Thanks for the link - now that I have read through it, it seems like exactly the same problem as many others have had. The issue is that the window doesn't courtesy drop enough when I open the door. I will read through a couple more posts and get on it this week-end.

Thanks - this is an awesome forum,
Lars
