Falken Ziex 912?

Hi and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all.

I'm in need of tires and have pretty much settled on a set of Falken Zeix 912s. Anyone else running them and if so how do you like them?

Also I need to decide on 205 or 225mm width for the front - pros, cons?

Thanks

I ran a set of 912s on my '07 VW GTI a few years ago. I didn't have any complaints with them, though I'm partial to Continental these days. :)

I've run both the 912's and the older 512's on my 986 as street/all season tires for a couple of years now. (I've got another set of wheels w/track tires)
The 912's and the 512's in 265 rear, 225 front have been great all around drivers. On the highway, they have little road noise, and they wear well. No problems at all with traction wet or dry driving within legal and safe limits. I've recommended them to a couple of other Boxster drivers who also have been pleased.

Falken is a great brand, they get a bad rap for having "less expensive tires" than their competition, but I love my Falken FK-452s... and performance to price, I find Falken to be the best. Just my .02

My Boxster had the 912's installed when I bought it.
They did well in the rain and dry, and decent even in the snow one day when I got a bug to drive up Squaw Pass in a light snowstorm. It was just raining in Denver, but I knew if I went up that road, it would turn to snow in the higher elevations.

I would recommend the 225 size, as they are cheaper to buy than the 205 size.
Plus, they handle better in that size if you do a track day.
