Roof Leak!!!
Check under the driver's seat and make sure the Alarm box hasn't gotten wet. I would hose the car down and see where the top is leaking ASAP. |

1. Overflowing/clogged drains in the front trunk, to the rear of each side of the battery tray; 2. Torn, missing or unglued plastic foam liner under the door panel; 3. Leaking heater core. 4. Convertible top drains in the convertible top well, if water has migrated to the footwell after entering from the rear of the cabin. 5. Sometimes there is a small space at the lower corner of the front left firewall that can let in water. If it is from the heater core, the liquid will feel a little viscous. Regards, Maurice. |
The bottom line: check the carpeting along the bottom edge of the door. If this is wet, then you have water leaking past the plastic foam liner inside the door, which is soaking the door carpeting, which is then dripping into the footwell.

HI and thanks for your comments / help , the problem does not seem to be coming from the door as the carpet below the door is bone dry , the moisture is only present around the area where the pedals are and is working its way toward the seat , i keep it as dry as possible to protect the electronics below the seat , maybe it stems from drainage ?? any further help / advice / instruction would be great , cheers.

The other possibility, as I mentioned in the earlier post below is that the water is leaking from the radiator core. Regards, Maurice. |
