The bug is biting ...

I will begin my search really soon. Its been like spring over here lately and the garage is crying for another Boxster :) Oh my poor wife when she finds out :ah:

William Harris 02-10-2003 01:28 PM

that bug has biten me too often

Know what you mean. Let's see, recent past: 1995 - purchased new 993 coupe (totaled at Bridge Hampton later that year); 1996- consoled myself with new C4S - what a car. 1997 - took delivery on new Boxster -this was a company car leased by by former employer for the "important execs", 1998 - lease is up, purchased 911 Cab, 2000 - time to change again, purchased 1999 Boxster from local dealer. My wife says if I come home with a new car again shes redecorating the whole house. So here's my plan, purchase a new Boxster S, but it has to be Artic Silver with a black leather interior. She will never realize its a different car. Maybe I call pull it off!

Really!

Yeah Jorge, you must be getting damned tired of driving around in that Yugo.

It is also just not right that everyone else here has a BOXSTER and you, our fearless leader, are without.

What color are you getting this time? AS again or something else? Hard to beat the AS in my opinion.

mjbliemel 02-11-2003 03:04 AM

You can pull it off William.....if.....

You can pull it off William.....if.....your wife is a blonde, she'll never notice.

Just kidding of course.

William Harris 02-11-2003 06:38 AM

not a blonde, but to her a car is something with four wheels

You know, as long as it is an AS Boxster, she'll never notice the difference. My wife has zero interest in my cars, so long as I don't "race" them (her term for driver's ed - funny how her attitutude on that subject changed after I went roof surfing on the first 993.

Almost a year later and....

Hey Jorge. You posted that in May 2002. So you have another Boxster yet? What's the excuse this time? You gotta come back to the fold man.

JT 04-20-2003 12:53 PM

its coming soon. I am in the process of working the wife now. Those are the first steps. You know, kinda like the air strikes before the ground troops. However, my wife will be a lot harder than the republican guards :) Once I break that line, the rest should all fall into place shortly after.

JT 04-20-2003 09:22 PM

JT -- Apples and Lexus

OK, I saw the Lexus, but what does that have to do with Apple?

Good luck with softening up the wife, hope you get your Boxster soon!

JT 04-21-2003 07:50 AM

Somebody already picked up the apple. I had a new in the sealed box dual 1 Ghz G4, with a bunch of goodies for 1800.00 . If the buyer backs out it will be back up.
