Horn not working with ignition on
 

Could anyone help, I have a 2001 Boxster, the horn works with the ignition off, the horns works as per the alarms, but with the ignition switched on when the steering wheel horn switch is pressed not sound from the horns. Can anyone help? thanks

suspect it's a typical ignition switch failure... (BTW, alarm horn and car horn are separate items)

Are you still getting a clunk when you remove key?

Key hard to turn/remove in ignition switch?

Any other odd electrical gremlins: radio stuck on/off, a/c not coming on, interior lights stuck?
