Need advice on battery maintainer

Hi everyone,

I will be leaving the country for a month (going to France!) and will leave my '02 Boxster in the garage. Fearing a dead battery when I get back, I am thinking of buying a battery maintainer which plugs in the cigarette lighter plug. I'm looking for a good yet not too expensive maintainer, do you guys have any recommendations?
Thanks in advance, appreciate it :)

Look at :

CTek (they make the Charge O Mat II for Porsche)

or Battery Tender

count on spending ~$40-70 US for a decent maintainer.

:)

I've used the cigarette lighter maintainer for the past two winters with great results.

Bought the Porsche maintainer from the dealer for $70 CDN (probably cheaper in US), and it worked without flaw last winter (4 months). Good luck!

I use one of these all the time. Not too expensive.
