Car cover fitament - close enough?

I was looking for an indoor car cover for winter - will a custom cover for a 2009 Boxster fit a 2003? I am assuming it will be a bit large - but is it as they say close enough for govn't work.

Cover is perfect and at quite a discount - and it is just for indoor protection.
So maybe the fit is good enough?

If the car is stored indoors and out of the wind, close is good enough. I have mine covered with a four layer Covercraft from my 930 turbo...fits good enough for the garage. The Box is the one on the left...

Thanks.

Got the "custom" indoor cover for the 2009. And it fits fine on my 2003 S - quite frankly can't tell what the difference would be. So rack up another score for the forum. And another $300 no sale for the dealership

btw - even wifie was impressed with the "Custom Porsche" car cover.

I've got a porsche 987 factory cover

that I put on my 986 and it fits just fine...not 100% exact as the 987 is a little more square I think but very close most people would not know the difference.
