Stock IMS Bearing identification ??

What markings did the stock IMS bearing on a 1997 boxster have

in the middle of replacing my bearing and just want to make sure it hasnt already been replaced already by last owner.

Mine say NSK and Japan on the seal...............Is this stock?

6204duA17 is also on it

Just want to make sure I am not replacing it for no reason.

it feels really smooth and tight when spining it by hand

Even easier than looking at the bearing, look at the flange: If it has the stock flange, it is the stock bearing.

If I recall correctly your car has over 100k miles on it. Seems that you already have the car apart to the point you're looking at the bearing so you might as well install the LN IMS Retrofit. Your bearing might be fine now and could be ok for another 100k miles but are you willing to take that chance given the mileage and work you've already put into it.
