Transmission Replacement
Found at the tranny died. Got a 98 box w/tiptronic. Think i'm going with a used one (likely from LA Dismantlers) and try to do it myself.
Questions are...What will fit in there? As in...What years? Can I step up to a boxster S tip and it still be a perfect swap? ...or stick w/only transmissions pulled from 97 & 98 2.5L boxsters? |

There aren't a lot of advantages to the later vs early model tips, so I'd recommend staying with the right one. Cheers! |
You might want to check with these guys, their yard is LARGE!
http://www.oklahomaforeign.com/ P.S. I just checked their site and the search showed two "99 Tip's. |
