need some ideas please! HELP

hi everyone,
i'm new to this forum and to forums in general... i needed some help from someone who has already installed a decent 1,000w and over stereo system in their 986 boxster 97-04 model. I own a 2002 2.7l boxster and i was thinking of installing a nice stereo system into the car... i'm wondering if there are any things to avoid/ to do to get the best out of my car's future sound system.
I'm full of speakers, amps and ect... because i dismounted it all from my previous car where i had 13,000w RMS so i'm ok with the how and what to use... i just don't know if it's better to put 1-2 sub/s in the front or back trunk or if i have to custom build a subwoofer box to put under the dash, or even behind the seats, under the roll bar since i don't have a glovebox there.
please send any info that can be helpful for me.
thank you very much.

from what i heard.. the car is just not designed to sound well.. you can invest as much money you want in there and it will never sound like it should .. :P
what porsche system do you currently have in there?
bose, m680, m490, base ?
