Boxster spits back fuel

So here's a problem I'm getting at the moment...whenever I go to the gas station and fill up my 02 Porsche Boxster: I start filling the car with gas and it simply spits it back out like if the fuel tank is full -which isn't the case. It sounds like there is some air coming out of the gas tank and the gas spit back has air bubbles in it (law of physics would probably explain why it spits it back if there's too much air..). I can still fill the tank up eventually but need to be extremely patient and insert gas in the car very slowly (I look kinda dumb being stuck at the pump for like 15-20 minutes...). With this mini-diagnostic, does anyone know what that could be due to? I'm thinking maybe the fuel pump?
Appreciate your help!

There are several things that could cause it. Go here first and then do a search on this forum and find other people that have had the same problem.

could be a few common issues:

- Fuse E6 blown
- Filler neck blocked by fuel sending tubes
- bad EVAP canister

Search ;) will find them for you as well but here are a few places to start looking

see this thread for more info

or this one on renntech.org

Appreciate it guys, will check if I hear the "click" to see if it could be the fuse. Thanks for your help!
