2002 2.7 oil level sender location

Anybody ever replaced his or her oil level sender, more important for me is that somebody can tell me where it's located on the 2.7 and how to get to it the easiest way.

It's in the case halves, so it's under the intake manifold. It's a large stick with an electrical connector on top, that screws into a boss in the case.

You may be able get a wobble socket on a long extension between the runners, but I'm not sure how'd you get your hand down there to unclip the connector or pull the actual sender out. Unfortunately I think you're going to have to remove the manifold to get at it.

Thanks for your fast answer, is it passenger side, pully side?

It's actually barely on the driver side, in the 4-6 case half, almost in the middle of the engine (front to back).
